Grounded, observant and quietly warm. He chose SCU in a single text message and still calls it a practical decision.

STORY SO FAR

1. PROLOGUE · BEFORE A few days at recruitment camp turn into an easy friendship with Luca. On the drive home, one text settles it. Eli chooses SCU.
2. EPISODE 1 · ARRIVAL Move-in day at Sierra Coast. A walk along the bluffs with his new roommate, and a simple line: I'm glad you're here.
3. EPISODE 3 · PROXIMITY Two months in, a walk on the beach is where Eli first admits he's confused. Later, alone at the mirror, he asks himself what he's doing.
4. EPISODE 5 · RIVALRY After dinner, Eli asks Luca to walk the bluffs trail, just the two of them. At sunset he says what he's noticed, plainly.
