Ryan Mercer at Coachella Festival
Coachella last weekend.
Didn’t really plan it. Daniel had an extra ticket and we just went.
Hot. Loud. Way too many people.
Kind of perfect.
I wish Eli were here. He would have loved it.
Don’t ask what happened after midnight. I’m not telling
Lost my voice by the second night. Didn’t sleep much. Don’t remember everything, which is probably a good sign.
Back in Berkeley now. Trying to pretend I’m caught up on everything I missed.
That’s not going great.
Worth it though.
I’ll post more pictures soon.

Is this Eli’s friend Ryan? Looks like him so I guess yes. Perhaps you should tell us his surname so we can tell him apart from the other Ryan in the soccer team. Ryan looks cute here – this video has come out very well and is quite convincing

Your first instinct was right, and then you talked yourself out of it.
That’s Ryan Mercer. He is Eli’s friend from San Francisco, and he isn’t on the swim team. He isn’t on any team. Computer science freshman at Berkeley, eighteen, 5’8″, dark brown wavy hair, pale blue eyes, and a rainbow sticker on his laptop. He’s the smallest guy in the cast and that’s deliberate. Everyone else is an athlete and he’s a CS major in a retro t-shirt.
The other one is Ryan Wallner. Nineteen, sophomore, SCU soccer, from Milwaukee. Six foot, platinum blond with faded sides, blue eyes, built like a soccer player. Rooms with Ethan Collier.
Short and brunette is Mercer. Tall and blond is Wallner. Once you’ve got that they’re hard to confuse.
