ABOUT RYAN

Ryan Mercer is a UC Berkeley freshman from San Francisco and Eli Becker's best friend since they were kids. He studies Computer Science and has never been shy about who he is.

Funny, direct and impossible to embarrass, Ryan teases Eli the way only a lifelong friend can. Berkeley's not that far, and he never lets Eli forget it.

"I've been sure of myself since before it was cool."
